That sucks. Alternatives that I can think of are

Vinyl Wrap (http://jonsibal.com/blog/2008/06/do-you-like-wrap/)
Herculiner (http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/general-discussion/exterior-tech/319612-painting-truck-bedliner.html)
Plastidip(http://www.kansas.com/2013/06/06/2834557/alternative-to-car-paint-fuels.html).

If it was me I would go with plastidip because you can touch it up. Could also just go with the rat rod look and when people ask just say that it is a commentary on the commercialism of the modern auto business.

I see, I didn't understand what you were asking. How bad is the blushing? Polishing will bring it to a shine, but it won't last. If it was me I would add retarder and respray, at least on the doors that you are gonna see every day. Probably not what you want to hear but polishing isn't gonna last.

Doesn't show in pics cause the paint is so yellow

But here is an attempt
Tried some 3 m cleaner wax with no help, moisture took away the smoothness so it's like bad orange pee

Btw this paint is caterpillar yellow,  also known as "old caterpillar yellow"

You can buy it by the gallon at tractor supply with reducer and hardiner , also comes rattle cans, under $100 into the paint job think it I majic brand?

Runs and drives fine, cannot tell if the leaks are fixed need to wipe off residues and recheck

Trans is fine even with filter service, funny thing its a real head turner passing jeeps rover drivers ignore it, guess this is a snobs brand

Ha! Not really. Soccer moms in their mall crawlers don't know what it is and those who have been around just know that any real CT truck couldn't possibly look that good...

Dude that thing is awesome, how much was the paint and vynil? My dad's series IIA is in a bad need of a paint job and with the brown church roof rack, it would be a good match.

Paint hardner and reducer was under $100 iirc and I have some paint left, decals about $115 shipped

Got to buy blue mask tape and stuff to sand, also I only spot primed where the aluminum bubbled the paint and I needed to sand real good

http://www.defendersource.com/

Go to for sale, camel tribute decals, last page, there's pics of a 110 done

Now my paint is not sand glow it is old caterpillar yellow, but looks like a good match to pics I saw of real camel trucks
