Rausch on 2/24-25?

That guy in the pic looks like he is running from the Jeep.

If I had to drive a Jeep i'd be running to. Na he just crawled from the rear window area. It was already on it side when I came across it.

i took a couple photos, i'll tryand post them tonight, matt had a go pro, i'd imagine he may post a vid or two. a guy with a dslr took a pic of me doing a pretty awesome descent on the comptetion course, (btw brett i dented your bumper) he said he would emial it to me, so obviously as soon as i get that i'll post it.

You mean you dented your bumper.I was wheeling in the poconos this weekend and my bumper is fine.Not a big deal as long as you didn't have to be pulled out by a nissan.Picks of the dent would be cool.

The nissan guys were all very cool but from what i observed the land rovers came out on top for two reasons (ok, well a bunch but two big ones)

1) The Nissans cost a ton more money than a landrover does and the have IFS and all sorts of stuff that make them need tons of money in order to do what a land rover does off the show room floor. I had more than one guy say to me, "that has solid axels, and a locking diff, and costs $3000? if i get another truck it might have to be one of those"

2) EVERY modded xterra looks the exact same. Theres apparently only one fabricator for everything they make. They all have shrockworks bumpers and sliders, there's only one type of snorkel, they all have the same lift, and on the whole, there's just very little that differentiates them. But to be fair, they said that they can get five skids and sliders for like 1400$ new, which is WAY cheaper than what it would cost us. There was a lot of stuff i could do on the competition course that the guys in my group with xterra's couldnt do, or it took them a bunch of tries.

on the whole, im really happy with how i did, considering i essentially only have a lift and tires as far as wheeling mods go.

So in looking at my photos they're all pretty useless. THey're from inside the truck driving behind matt. We weren't stopping to shoot everyone as they went through a specific rough spot like you had us do ed. We just kind of motored through. Matt's go pro might be the best bet. we did do a few blacks. i'll post the photo of the bumper when i get home and the photo of me on the comeptetion decent if i ever get it, in the eman time, this is the decent i was talking about, it was pretty awesome, i was essentially standing on the firewall straing at the pavement
