1999 Land Rover Range Rover Calloway Edition For Sale

Dear Mr. Tatton. I found your name thru British-Atlantic Parts website. My customer is offering the above Land Rover for sale, mainly for parts. Great body, great interior, fair wheels, poor tires. It runs and drives, has a current Pa. State and Emission sticker attached.

The transmission is the greatest issue. One must manually shift into/out of 1st manually, then it will automatically shift thereafter. Engine has several oil leaks. All modules/electronics function, except the stereo, which is currently blank.

Does someone in your club or circle of friends have a want or need of this vehicle??? It is going to salvage here in Pittsburgh, Pa. if a suitable enthusiast is not found. I am by no means a Rover specialist....but the owner is a cherished customer, and I would like to see the unit go to a greater good.

Yes. This is the one Randy acquired. I loaded it on Randy's trailer and Kerry towed it back to Lancaster last Sunday morning.

We had to jump it to get it started. It idled OK, but didn't sound too healthy when I drove it onto the trailer. IDK whether it was just that it had been sitting for ~4 months or that it wasn't getting adequate oil pressure, but I moved it and shut it off as quickly as possible.

Overall it was a pretty decent looking P38, but nothing too exceptional. The guy we picked it up from said it was driven by his college age son for approximately a year. (His kid knew nothing about caring for a Rover.) He said the kid got mad at him jumped in the truck, slammed it into gear and tore off one night...that's how the tranny got screwed up.
