Ok, so I now have a Great Divide #372

The question is should I build it to what I would like with all the goodies and cut fenders do all the stuff I've done in the past or keep it factory, Its far from being in great shape. Also what is this thing worth? I know they only made 409 of these and only 400 were sold. HMMM!

i wouldnt cut it up. i wouldnt give it a full resto either. I would turn it into a mild wheeler maybe a 2" lift and a set of 32's. But I would def get the body and interior all cleaned up and that nice white paint shiny. get the badges fitted.

I went thew this same thought when I had my GDE. #1 And the only black one ever produced!! I had that truck up for sale for months because I didnt want to cut it up. I bought the truck sight unseen from a guy on craigslist that wanted his dads old junk truck out of the garage. I waited waited and waited. Nobody was stepping up to the plate. So I did what i wanted with it and then everybody threw a huge shit storm when I started to cut and modify it. Lol fast forward cpl years its new been rebodied into a 100inch hybrid and I drove and wheel it like that for years before selling it. Long story short do what ever you want with it! just have fun! Oh and nice truck!

Well the deconstruction starts in one month. I have an 1988 RRC SWB I have to fix up, mostly brake lines and fuel sending unit, It only has 80k on it. When I get the 88 RRC up and going down the road the GDE is getting hacked!!! Twisted Evil In a big way! I'll keep you guys posted on the the updates, So far I have the nv3500 and the lt230 conversion done, I'm looking for an OM617 at the moment. I also have the 5 speed foot pedel from a D1 and other parts all on the bench reeady to go.

I had 35's under my hybrid and they looked tiny!! But with the series diff's and lockers they did the trick just fine!! If i had kept it i was going to go with 37's.

This has been a hard debate for me with my G4 and I've decided to not cut it up. Although I'm also very selective on parts that I'm putting on it as well. So I would suggest no to cutting it up, and I agree turn it into a mild wheeler.
