I have 2 AX10 based trucks. Ones pretty much stock out of the box and the other I made a complete tube chassis and suspension. I got some bugs to work out of it yet but it does pretty good.

I agree with the paint and ride height comment for sure. I already ordered another body for it and the stock springs are coming with it so we can lower it.

The Axials are cool but we wanted the Toyota body.

I run mine without springs. But my chassis has little to no weight since i run my batteries on the axles. But I think some light springs youll be fine

If you need a motor an esc look into the novak goat system. I probably went threw 10-12 different setups till I got one. Theyre easy to setup an run with a ton of power an smooth throttle

Nice. I got out of RC when my HPI nitro stadium truck got launched into a stream at full throttle. It was one hobby that was almost as expensive as owning a Rover...

Heres my AX10 based buggy. Front an rear steer, front-rear-both dig, custom made billet stainless wheels, HD gears and spools, HD cv shafts in axles an driveshafts, titanium link suspension, stainless brake line chassis I built, aluminum axles etc.
