| Welcome, this board can be slow for responses but the people are nice, check the outings section, you just missed the picnic by a few weeks but there is an off road event next month
First rover? Do you work on stuff yourself?

| Lift is super easy, what weight did you get? Lite, Med , HD?
Huge suggestion, when it comes to aftermarket stuff go used rover stuff is insane expensive and can be had insane cheap used if patient
Great place for info is landroverforums.com. also be sure to check the 4 sale section, disco web also has great 4 sale section
First thing I would do on yours is check u joints and rebuild both drive shafts, if the front let's loose it breaks the trans case
Very important and easy, check gear oil in rears and transfer case, most rovers are severely neglected by their original yuppie snooty owners

| Looseness in u joints, if they look like original with no grease fittings swap em and grease the new ones, buy good ones they are inexpensive, if you have vibration definitely need em and do em before the lift
you are aware with HD springs they are made to carry x# of static weight like winch and bumpers or they give more lift then advertised, can screw with caster
Did you buy shocks too? | |

| yes i bought the shocks also. and i do plan on getting bumpers and winch. I also tow a boat thats why i got the HD. I appreciate your help. I'm going to take a look at the u joints now, most likely replace them even if they look good | |

| Thanks, I just ordered the gbr hd driveshaft today, and a roof light bar. Once the driveshaft comes in I'm going to put on the lift and hopefully get a set of tires soon after. And I also got the gear oil changed. Thank you for all the help and suggestions | |
