So I was trolling around the interwebs and I saw an old article where Gerry McGovern said that the new defender will not look like the DC100. Apparently he said the new design is “absolutely smack-on, it will be the business”. That got me hoping and I found this orphan shot of something listed as “LR15”



Now I make no claims as to the veracity of this photo, but when I saw it I went full chub. The article with McGovern is here

that reminds me of the SVX defender minus the cage. im sure it wont look anything like the DC100... none of their cars end up like the prototypes. However they are closer to the prototypes than this is closer to the DC100.... so who knows what will happen. I'm even more curious about the full size discovery 5 as they said the discovery sport (lr2 replacement) is small.. when actually it's pretty freaking big and can seat 7.
