| So I think this is finally the code to accompany my huge loss of power on road where I am loosing speed going uphill on pavement TPS is displaying proper I have tried several MAF all display the same Checked for vacuum leaks Hoping it is just the fuel pump taking a crap since I installed a used sender and pump like 6 months to a year ago due to my old sender shorting the TPS voltage At this point truck is drivable but wants to die in startup with IACV trying to compensate then it runs so... Guess when I return home will need to check fuel pressure and go from there Just when I thought this thing was all fixed | |

| At least fuel pumps are cheap and easy to change. I just put a $100 RN pump/sender in mine last weekend, it took a half hours tops. | |

| Pump and sender for 1998 is $$$$ Abel type like $500?
But sender can be rebuilt with cheap pump from auto zone, I did that on the last one and saved the pump when I chucked the bad sender, so I should just need a new sock and fuel filter
I may change it just because

| I am home, 32 psi at fuel rail, sat for over a week when I tried starting it kept starting and dying finally kept running
MAF at idle is .08 g/s seems low is that the correct reading?

| Put on an actual fuel test gauge, 28 psi, pinch the return 100 psi and runs great
She is starving for fuel pressure, replaced pump, sock, fuel filter today, no change, ordered a new fuel pressure reg. No idea what else to do
If I unplug current regulator, jumps to 35 psi

| With the vacuum disconnected from the regulator the fuel pressure does not jump up when the throttles open. I might try mine like that to see if it makes any driveability changes. Mine runes at 25psi and jumps to 30-35psi when the throttle opens. | |

| O2 are done, ntk and functioning proper on data stream, new magnacore in spring and ngk type r plugs, I can see by the fuel pressure test gauge there is not enough fuel pressure
I have 28 need around 35 idle, starving for fuel
