Well since I shredded that duralast I put in before the pines trip last weekend. (maybe 2000 miles) I'm betting pinion angle had something to do with it too before I fixed it. The precision 344 on the other end of the shaft is still damn solid. However I HATE how they put the zerk in the T and I also HATE how they damn fittings snap off so easy if you go to snug them down or take one out. I mean I guess I tighten shit way too tight but damn. The harbor freight extractor set paid itself off this evening while removing the zerk from the brand new $25 u joint.
