I gots me one of them there 5lb ABC that rolls around in the back. Im waiting for it to go off one of these days. I think a 10lb would be a better option with a regular automotive style mount

just make sure you always drink plenty of beer when yer wheeling. that way you can be sure to have plenty of fer fighting liquid in you (plus, no mounting issues)

That is my concern. I would like to get one with a proper mounting that will hold it in place under less-than-perfect conditions (Rock Garden anyone) yet be able to be removed quickly. Ain't seen it yet...

Where is one thing, "how" is another. I am looking for a good, double strap bracket.

Nice...I pulled one of the 3rd row seats from my D2...I may have to pick one of these up and see if it can be mounted to that bracket.
Up to now, I've always carried a 3 lb. ABC extinguisher in a pocket on the side of my recovery bag...

LOL...none of us are too pretty Dave...
Back to the original topic though, did you guys ever see this video? It has been out there for a while, but is still illustration of great reason for why everyone needs to carry extinguisher...especially on the trail...
