yes 8,000!

no it's not open yet. They are doing guided tours. They have a set of greens and a set of blue/blacks. No reds yet. The tours are $20 extra on top of the $35 and you have to schedule it with the front office or they are doing them once a month.

hopefully when they finish cutting all the trails they will open it up to non-guided rides. i wouldnt mind paying $40 to wheel for the day but $65 if you want to wheel the entire park is a bit extreme IMO.

According to the thread on the Rausch forum, this new section requires at least a half day to complete. So it's doubtful that you would do this section, and the northeast section on the same day. It might be worth doing one time, set up a group ahead of time to go out to this new section.

I've camped in a lot colder weather, but I'm getting wimpy in my old age...camping at RC in Feb would probably be pretty ugly...

Sweet. Seriously though, I'd still show up at RC in February if you guys want to do something then, but I was thinking about trying to make it up to the Maine Winter Romp this year. (Yeah, I know...Maine in February is going to be a lot colder than RC!)

would love to go and do this.we missed ROTR this year.and kind of glad we did.due to the fact that my tranny gave up the ghost last Friday.it's sitting at Trevor's waiting on a transmission from Will.i also have a set of tactical rover diff guards headed his way as well.and new sneakers should be installed on Friday as well.

those TR diff guards are hard to come by they are in so high demand right now.
