Leaky sunroofs

I haven't researched this problem too much, but I think my rear sunroof drains are clogged. After any good rain, my carpet along the drivers side rocker sill is soaked, in the front and back. It leaks pretty bad, I usually throw some shamwows under the mats and wring them out about five times.

I'm just wondering how much of a bitch it's gonna be and if I'm gonna have redo my headliner? Should I just use my compressor and blow air through the drain holes? I need to do this soon, this wet carpet shit is sucks.

this brilliant man did a writeup on how to remove the headliner. once removed you can access the drains make sure they are clear and reattach and reseal them on to the tray.

Caulk them shut,unhook thr switches and call it a day.

Thanks. I think I am gonna have my friend that works in a body shop give me a hand after the holidays. Hopefully it will be only slightly painful.

Oh don't worry calking them shut is very easy.

Not too bad of a job 3 hrs by myself. Drop liner, remove c pillars, rear side panels, both rear lines plugged up. removed them and installed larger diameter hoses. cleaned out wheel well drains. I flush them every other month just too keep them clean.

I've never worried about my sunroofs leaking. Oh wait, I don't have sunroofs.
