thank you sir. i just finished my CDL shifter install following your design and instructions. works (and looks) awesome.
i crawled under it yesterday on the trails (after a lunch break to cool) and locked it up with an adjustable wrench... not so bad when its dry and the truck is cool.
on the way off trail i crawled back under to unlock and burnt the SHIT out of myself several times, and was only about 45% sure that i achieved the unlock.... this morning woke up, went to depot to get supplies and am done now...
taking the console apart was pretty easy, but i'm a little weary i may have forgotten something putting it back in... it wiggles a little more freely than I'd like, but i'm super anal about shit like that.
its also obvious that someone else has had the console apart before because there's some broken shit that i know i didnt break. so i may look through some scrapped rovers and pick up replacements in the coming months.
overall i'm super happy, especially considering the whole thing cost me about $40 bucks.
