| I have an OME medium duty 2" kit. right now it has a 1/2 inch spacer up front to level it out after winch and bumper. i'm thinking of going to a 1inch front and 1/2 inch rear (because i already have the 1/2 inch rear sitting here on my desk).
as it sits now, the truck is perfectly level, so i'm basically going from a 2inch to a 2.5inch in reality.
i already have extended brake lines and a ujoint rear shaft in place of the rotoflex, is there anything else I would really need to do? I think maybe extended ABS lines if i'm going to be flexxing, but anything else? if its going to be a pain in the ass i wont do it, but i just want a little more height on my pig.

| If you don't have sway bars extended brake lines would be a good idea. Not necessary but a good idea. | |

| Anything 3+ may require radius arms and extended trailing arms or a DC rear shaft. Just watch pinion and spring perch angles it will tell you when you have gotten too high and need some correction. | |

| Already have the extended ss lines so I'm good there.
RE: Jakes point. I'd really be going from 2 to 2.5inches all around, the 1 inch spacer will give me about 1/2 inch lift thanks to the bumper and winch (only got leveled out by my 1/2incher) and the rear will only be getting a 1/2 inch.
I dont really see what would cause a huge problem, but i guess i can always deal with it as it comes.

That's what I did, I need new springs though with so many people running around on 3inch lifts and otherwise stock, i dont really see a problem with it... then i can get some 255/85 m/ts sometime in the distant future.

| Ive got a 3" TF lift and stock radius arms.3" is the max on a D2 before you need castor corrected radius arms. You should be fine with 2.5" lift.I ran Rausch creek with 3" lift no sway bars and stock brake lines without an issue. They got tight as piano wires but didnt break.Needless to say after that I changed them. | |

How's that new rear drive shaft working out? it fits nicely in my trunk. hopefully i can get a minute this weekend to swap it out. i'm going to do it in a buddys garage bc i dont know how much of a pain it is to pull that rear flange off, and if i get into a situation i want to have all the tools available. Funny thing is, when we were swapping the case we had both shafts off (obviously) and the new diff flange showed up the day after we finished putting it all back together.
