More Info: Some will camp (me) some will stay at a local hotel. Meeting at Rausch at 9 am to register and hit the trails. You can get a discount at the local hotels if you mention your going to Rausch Creek. I believe the hotels are $49 camping is $15/person mention "dana" when booking, we are staying at Echo Valley Campgrounds. (570) 695-3659 echovalleycamp.com

That's a six + hour drive from here, but I do have weekend free... color me a strong maybe.

im waiting till Thursday to make a final decision as to when I'll be arriving. If it looks clear Friday evening I will come out then and arrive around 8. If if looks like rain I will come early Sat and just head straight to the creek.

I need to tune my firstik antenna. If you have an swr meter will you please bring it? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been running mine for years without tuning it. Because of that, I don't get a big range, but it's usable for trail rides. If you don't get it done before this weekend, maybe I'll buy one off eBay, and we can do both in July, if I'm back walking by then. Getting x-rays today, and an MRI of my ankle tomorrow.

I'm sure it will be fine for trails but one of the guys is bringing one to RC. I picked up some stuff last night in BK so I should be fine. However I am going to add a spring after this weekend because it's a tight fit behind the spare and sticks above my rack maybe an inch or two. I'll need to redo it then I'm sure.

any local radio shack has springs in stock, you could probably pick one up before you leave, or on the way. Then tune it with the spring once.

Yea maybe in rural PA or NJ but not in NYC. I asked them for a coax for a cb radio and they were like "a what?" lol

Well, you can stop at any truck stop in PA on 78 on the way out. They'll have them there.

Yea that's what I was thinking amazon has them for like $9 for the hd spring + shipping.

I stopped in a radio shack yesterday in White Plains all they had was glittery iPhone cases and subwoofers blasting techno music. I couldnt find one CB or CB related item. f'n crazy.

The radio shack by me is mostly the same, but hidden in the back is 2 cd radios, a scanner, a few antennas, and some accessories.

The extra bonus of buying cb stuff at a Pennsylvania truck stop are the "interesting characters" you meet there. You can't find lot lizards on amazon.

Looks like you guys and gals had a blast, to bad I was stuck going to Florida or I wouldve been there. Oh well theres always next time! Maybe I'll have the red one on the road by then.

there was lots of carnage on Saturday, Randy blew a diff in the rock garden, my truck wouldn't start i think it's the xyz sensor, jake got a flat, billy nearly ripped his brush guard off, another guy flooded his MAF in water.. Sunday was a lot less crazy!

Yeah I thought Billys bumper looked a little tweaked in the video. Did Randy blow an ARB? I got a ton of stuff to do to both trucks, I sent Randy a grocery list last week I think I mite have to refinance the house lol.

Is there any other RC trips in the planning anytime soon? I want to at least have 1 truck together in the next 3 weeks to go playin.

we are heading to the pines July 9 & 10, i think the next Rausch will be July 30 & 31 & i'm looking at doing something in New England in September possibly another rausch and a winter Pines Trip.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Rausch is definitely different when there's water. When we went last year, it was so dry that you couldn't tell that spots were normally underwater.

Looks like you hit up some new trails, and some more rocks. Wish I was there.

Yeah we hit up some new ones and I mapped them all out. So next trip hopefully you can make it out we can hit up some of them again. All that rain surely made for some different terrain and washed away a lot of dirt and left us with rocks everywhere! Time for everyone to fix things and prepare for the next trip.
