and for some reason my lights dimed and the rpm's dropped pretty low but It didn't stall. WTF! Also getting a squeaking sound from the belt area. I hope this isn't a warning for bad things to come.

Sounds like tensioner slacked belt or you have bad bearing on alternator. Alternator controls the tachometer so if that goes off the. You know the problem. Take your belt off and spin the tensioner.
