crashed the disco.

my disco is trashed.passenger side knuckle broke and my daughter swiped a pole and wiped out the right front side of the car.i am talking to Trevor about getting it to him to part it out.i know Trevor is getting the trany,i am taking the lights,winch,batteries and electronics out of it before i take it to him.
i will be going back to jeeps,due to cheaper price to maintain.i hope u guys will still allow me to tag along on the pine barron runs?u r good people to hang with.for sure.
i will take some good pics on friday of the truck.
i am now off to lala land,just got done my 10hr shift at work.

I had a 95 disco my son totalled. He rear ended someone blew the air bags and front
end damage basically totalled. Found some used air bags, headlamps pulled the front
straight slapped a used hood on and he drove it another 2 years. He sold it to a friend
who drove it 2 years, She sold it to a friend (who has nothing but bad luck with cars)
The first week he had it, someone backed into it, the next week a tree fell on it crushing
the roof, blowing out the alpine light.
He beat the roof as straight as he could with a 2x4 took a piece of a street sign, screwed
it over the alpine light and sprayed it with rustoleum. Drove the truck for another year and sold
it to someone else...
These vehicles crash and repair quite well.

wow sorry to hear that dave, hope your daughter is ok. is the motor destroyed? u have done so much to that truck. would hate it to just have some body damage and a few minor bits here and there to get it running again. if you are dead set on getting rid of it is there anything you're willing to part with at a fair price? there are guys myself included who would be willing to take some of that truck.

I don't think I've ever seen a steering knuckle just break. Thankfully everyones ok.

me neither that is crazy, especially without warning. at least some clunking before catastrophic failure.

u know these youngins now a days,the stereo was probably ear shatteringly loud......

If you look closely at the lower swivel pin area on the knuckle the break looks like it's been broken for some time
it's rusty (both surfaces) compared to the fresh looking break on the steering arm.

I just found that my rear passenger break is binding so it looks like I need a new caliper, I would take the rear passenger brake caliper off your hands. Let me know via PM or text me on 267-808-1270
