Looking for good, reasonably priced sleeping bag Empty
PostSubject: Looking for good, reasonably priced sleeping bag   Looking for good, reasonably priced sleeping bag I_icon_minitimeFri Oct 12, 2012 12:26 am

I need to get Jensen a good sleeping bag. RotR is coming up and I had to let him use mine and I froze my ass off.

I have a sleeping that I got 35 years ago and it is great. It is stuffed with PolarGuard (whatever that is) and keeps me warm. What I like about it is that it is NOT a mummy bag and the bottom can be unzipped so that it is comfortable in warmer weather. I can't find one like this.

I don't want to spend a ton of money but the boy needs to be warm.

Thanks,
Dave

so you are giving him yours and you need one? or you need one for him?

I have the Teton xl 0 degree bag. It's pretty awesome. Fit's my big ass and can zip together with another one if you bring a chick with you. They make a few different sizes and temp standards. I really like the sack that it stores in can really be tightened down and makes a nice cover.

For less than $40 for the one zipper option, thats worth taking a gamble on.
