I was out behind my house getting firewood and messing around a bit on Saturday. I got a little cocky and went down this little gully and my pintle hitch got snagged on a big ass root. I had to disconnect the traile, but the hitch was not coming out being jammed in the dirt. After a couple attempts, I had to call the wife to drive her Jeep out to winch me out.

In my own defense and my rovers, I would have made it if I had a higher clearance hitch. Here are a couple pics.

A: gunned it

and broke some plastic. if that didnt work.

B: hi lifted one of those rear wheels up and shoved a log under it.

She was a good sport about it, plus it was only behind the house down a trail.

With a little effort, I would have gotten out. I did rip the corner plastic piece off above bumper and crack a light in the bumper. It was just quicker with the winch.
