New Stainless Exhaust Empty
PostSubject: New Stainless Exhaust    New Stainless Exhaust I_icon_minitimeMon Nov 12, 2012 7:14 pm

So spraying the mud and shit off the underside of my truck today and I saw a hole on the exhaust pipe after the muffler. Any recommendations on a replacement?

Current exhaust is a Borla but it rotted pretty quickly so I am looking for a Stainless steel replacement which I'll never have to worry about it again.

I think your only other options are magnaflow or maybe NRP.. Or custom tig welded..

Bring it do a good exhaust shop have them bend you one out of stainless. it would be much cheaper to do that then actually buy a cat back system. plus you can have them tuck the pipes up and exit where you want.

That is actually a good idea, thanks I'll look into that.

I thought all Borla stuff was stainless?? I have the Borla kit on my 04 and it is stainless, as well as my headers and some exhaust on my CJ7 are both stainless.

Am I wrong on that?

Yes I believe Borla is supposed to be stainless but this isnt the first time I have heard about them rotting out.. Not sure what exhaust Schuler had but I think he said it was also stainless and rusting..
