| A couple of us are heading up. We have had such poor turnouts for the NYD run that it makes sense to do it prehangover
May camp Friday night also.

| So far it's me & Jensen, Trevor, "Muffin" (Dave Beard), Rob & Kim and Randy. Most, if not all, of us are camping Friday night. | |

| OK, as of this moment I am the only one camping (with Jensen and his buddy). Randy and Beard bailed.
As for arrival time, I would guess 8am but I would contact Randy (usedroverparts@yahoo) for a better idea. I personally want to get going as early as possible as there is little daylight these days.
Randy mentioned there may be "another group" coming. This may mean a split of the group into a "green" and "blue/black" group. Choose wisely.
Fern? Are you coming?
Trevor and maybe Neil are supposed to show. (Neil's birthday)

| Holy crap, what a day. Heavy snow all day made for an interesting outing indeed.
Group - me, racer Dave (my92tealcp), Dave Beard, Randy, Trevor and Rob (of "Rob and Kim" who I first met a RotR). Doug from DC area was also there with some Toyota guys - CAMPIMG both Friday and Saturday nights.
The snow turned the green trails into challenging runs. Sometime in the early afternoon, the whole park got incredibly slippery. Trucks were sliding around like hockey pucks and it got a bit dangerous.
Highlight of the day (evening actually) was going to rescue a Jeep from deep in the park. The regular park ranger was so busy with stuck vehicles that Tre the vor volunteered us to go out and help the Jeep. It had rolled and lost enough trans fluid to make it immobile. 4 quarts of tranny fluid delivered by us got the abortion of the Jeep moving again. Don't ask me why two British trucks had to help a Jeep that was part of a 6 Jeep group but we did. I think it had a lot to do with the collective IQ of Jeep group adding up to less than 100 (there was about 12 of them).
Lowlight of the day was watching Rob's '03 Disco slide down a hill broadside heading right for Randy and his truck. While it turned out fine, it scared the daylights out of all of us. This was part of our rescuing him from being stuck up in the playground. Randy was winching him back while Trevor was using my winch from the side. It was quite a site. Great campfire story for sure. Trevor also had a ride down the powerline all crossed up with a roll seemingly inevitable.
A P38 with street tires (another Dave - racer Dave) proved impressively capable. Dave had to bail around noon but not before keeping pace with all the modified trucks.
Carnage - P38 front valance (racer Dave), two D2 real bumper top caps (Rob), my rear bumper cap and an alpine window. oh, and two pair of underwear (Trevor and Rob).
A lot of stories, pics and video.

Wish I could of gone. Trevor had some pics up on facebook. To busy playing taxi to my girlfriend and my brother, who thought buying a mustang just before winter was a good idea.

No, it was late and a little weird. Plus, we were out numbered (physically, not mentally)
