| Well since I made you guys look bad in my Range last weekend with stock tires. I am looking at an 03 HSE7 Disco in Phila that has over heated and can only run 10 min before getting hot. Really clean in and out just needs motor work 126K $2500 what do you all think? To buy or not to buy. I am parcial to RR. | |

| Too much for a truck that needs an engine IMO.. It's a fair amount of work and is going to cost at least another grand for a good engine. I'd do it if I got the truck for a steal. As with rovers I always budget money for extra issues. | |

| Id offer the guy $1000, and then buy a used engine, and rebuild the used engine using the 4.6 crankshaft from the original.
Realistically, its a 10 year old truck with a blown engine, its not worth 2500. Plus, check if the engine is within the bad engine vin range. 03's have the worst engines of the bunch, with all the known faults.

| If you are looking for a D2 try and find a 04, they have the CDL stock so that's one less thing to worry about. | |

| I am not sure what Trevor paid for his RR Classic but it wasn't too terrible much. That may be what you want to look for - a clean RRC. I like your idea of a RR. If you are considering a Disco, I'd get a late D1. Every time I go out there is at least one area that the D2's fat ass hits hard and I don't hit at all. The D2 has an extra 6"(?) hanging over the back wheels. | |

The rear on my D2 always seems to hit when I am out. IIRC there is a video where I hit hard and the truck be hind me doesn't. And I have a 3 inch lift and 32 inch tires. If I didnt have a D2 and was in the market for a trail rig I'd try to find a SWB Classic.

| Here's an update from Deodate: Keith sold his D1 for 1400, the 109 is going to North Dakota, I haven't seen my parent's LWB for awhile to evaluate it's condition before offering it for sale, I have a customer with a AA Yellow ST for sale, and 110 3 door with a 200TDi available also. Also considering a Mechanic's Lien on an 85 90 that's been here since last summer, unpaid. | |

Oh man if I didn't have to buy an engament ring I'd be all over that D90 like a fat kid on a cupcake. Or like Dave on a fat kid, either one works.
