Re: D-Web is officially bonkers.
This reminds me of ordering pants from Filson.
I order some pants in 36x32. The pants arrived a few days later, but were the wrong color. So, I sent them back for an exchange.
A few days later, more pants arrived from Filson. This time they were the correct color, but now they were the wrong size.
Fuck.
Again I sent the pants back for an exchange. Third times a charm.
A few days later I get another order, and again the order is wrong. WTF! Again I sent the pants back.
Finally a few days later I get the right order.....only to blow the ass out of them bending over a few days later.
I never called Filson. Never needed to.
Here's another example.
I ordered some swivel ball grease from Lucky 8 along with some other bits. A few days later a package shows up and I toss it in the truck for a project I had planned. After a few days I get the truck all jacked up, torn a part, and start putting it back together. When it came time to use the parts I ordered from Lucky 8, I opened the box to find a window regulator. WTF?
The point of my story is never in my life have I had a vender tell me never to come back because I was being pain in the ass, even if it was the vender's fault for fucking up an order. I've never even really heard of this.
Another thing I've never heard of is these parts sellers selling other peoples parts for them. Randy selling parts for Marty and Marty getting them from who knows where. Seems like a hassle to me. Why not just say you don't have the parts? Is that too easy? I don't get it, but it happens a lot.
I know Mike. I know Marty. I know Mike a lot better than I know Marty and I can understand why Marty does not like Mike. A lot of people can't handle Mike, including Marty. Sometimes Mike's wife can't handle Mike, either, but I've never had a problem handling Mike's wife. Or Marty's wife for that matter. I bet I could handle Mike, Mike's wife and Marty all at the same time, even if Mike's wife talked a lot. I'm not so sure I could handle Marty, Marty's wife and Mike at the same time, though. That might be over doing things. Marty sometimes stutters and Marty's wife talks a lot when she's drinking and Mike sometimes just starts talking about nothing. That drives me crazy. Mike and Marty's wife in the same room sounds interesting, though. Hmmmm. That leaves Marty and Mike's wife together. Alone. Wonder what would come of that? I think the best thing to do would to get Mike's wife and Marty's wife together with me in the same room and see who could handle who. Either way it would end like a Honey Boo Boo show and I'd be banned from shopping at Marty's.
Anyone need some used Filson pants?
