3D printing

this is pretty crazy. Makes me wonder how far off we are from having companies print replica parts, or even entire truck bodies.

The sooner they can print entire bodies the better. The wife wants me to start fixing all the trail damage before I get to go on each trip... Shocked

I think there is a few on-demand 3d print places in NYC now. Kind of like a Staples or Kinkos but with 3d printing and CAD drawings.

I know that one of the office supply stores is doing that in Europe now as a test. And they planned on starting that service in the US here this year.

Yeah saw the headline on that earlier today. Thing I didnt get is they have been hacking the kinect from microsoft to use to scan items into computers.
