I like to invite everybody to the first Competition Safari at our NJ Pine lands.
Oct 26th 9 AM to 4 PM at latest Meet at Carranza Memorial
Friendly competition will consist of two stages. Stage one will be Timed 500 meter RTV trial. Everyone will get three tries, best time wins stage. Stage two will be a Navigation Road Rally. Road book in hand you have to complete a 5 mile route (navigator recommended)
Marshals for the day will be. Jarek M Ben S Dan M
Recommended besides a navigator is a helmet, nothing fancy but something is better the nothing.

Amazing day! I haven't had that much fun in a very long time. I had no idea you could jump a truck so easy too.

RTV (Road Taxed Vehicle) trialing is the most common form of trialing. As the name suggests, it is for vehicles that are road-legal

I'm very surprised at the lack of interest, figured people would jump on opportunity like this. It's ok though It'll give us a chance to practice with smaller group first.

I wish I'd known sooner and it was closer. This looks like fun.
I'm already committed to trying to make it out for the Robesonia Trials that same weekend though.
Are you guys going to do this annually, or semi-annually?

I'd be over this like a fat kid on a cupcake if I didn't have plans with the in-laws to be.

It was a blast. Lots of water, some truck pulling. Sugar sand can really really hamper ones steering in tight turns and those whoopty whoopts didnt destroy my military leaf springs lol.
