| So I know this has been asked before, but i just spent the last 30 minutes trying every word combination in google to try and find it but couldn't.
What parts do you guys carry with you when you go offroad. What would you deem most likely to break and most important to carry a spare off. I've been out west 3 years and i've been lucky, but everyone keeps calling me crazy for not carrying anything more then a spare tie rod. And I'm about to peak over the 100k mark, so I think it is time i invest in some more spare parts. Mostly when I'm out west it is all rocks and rocky mountain such terrain. Very little mud and soft stuff (besides snow) out here. Also keep in mind, college kid on college budget. Thanks guys

| +1 to this thread!
General crap that I carry (not disco specific) -Belts -Radiator Hose (with Clamps) -Cheap Ass Tie Rod Ends -Fuses -Tire Plug Kit
All that is general crap. I would really like to know what the weak links that I have over looked are. Would a spare PCM be worthwhile, or should I just tow a donor truck along behind me?

| I usually carry belts, hoses, ujoints, fluids (oil antifreeze etc) jumper cables, couple plugs an plug wires, tie rod an ends, axles depending where im going. Of coarse most of that stuff is gonna stay in the tow rig from now on. | |

| same here general stuff. although i should add brake lines in there. i blew one in vermont and luckily i got one off somebody at camp so i could continue. the most important is the AAA card. I use every tow every year. | |

| Yea I always carry the basic stuff and plenty of fluids. I just didn't know if there was a weak spot in our driveline or anything that often breaks or might break when in the rocks. Because i'm the only Rover when I'm in Moab so i'm pretty much on my own if anything goes. Besides the propshaft. I heard the rear driveshaft could cause issues with that roto-flex, but i'm looking into swapping that out anyway and converting it. | |

suspension no so much but
steering (front rods etc etc...) drive train (drive shaft etc etc...) brakes (lines, rubber hose w/clamps piece of hard line etc etc...)
besides all mentioned above...
and please dont for get tools! go out and buy yourself best set you can afford and keep it in your truck...
