Safari Snorkel for Disco II

Hey guys!

I have a Safari Snorkel, NIB, for a Disco II, that I need to get rid of. If anyone that is planning on attending the Rausch Creek event this weekend wants it, I can bring it down with me. I had posted it up on one of the LR forums, but never got any serious bites. The Snorkel has never been mounted, only taken out of the box to ensure it has all its pieces(which it does). AB sells it for $472, and Rovers North for a whopping $550. Feel free to shoot me a (reasonable) offer if you'd like it. Most of the offers I had were in the $100-150 range, which I think was a little harsh. Im not trying to make a mint on this thing, just recoup some of my money on it.

Also open to trades. I need a pair of sliders, preferably with nerf bars. If they're worth more than the snorkel, we can work something out. Let me know guys, and thanks for looking!

i've never looked under the hood of one, so idk how much different the set-ups are. cant imagine it being too far off

That is one of the things that's a lot different on the d2. Better designedon the d2 actually. D1s have an air box with a horn looking intake on the front of it.

i bought all the parts for my Disco while i was in Afghanistan in one crazy shopping spree. when i ordered the snorkel from AB, they told me it was on 4 month back order. i THOUGHT i cancelled the order before i bought one from another company. when i got home, i found 2 snorkels in the pile of shit i ordered, lol.

both companies had re-stocking fees, and one wouldn't do a return. so i just mounted the one snorkel on my truck, and now im trying to sell the other.

Post the lowest price you'll take maybe that will spark interest

i might beed that snorkel! lol.. this is what just poured out of my MAF. then i sucked up a quarter pound of sand out of the bottom of the air box.. dont tell my girl i used the house vacuum.

I seriously need one. especially after how much swimming we did on the last trip.

I just bought one of those small shop vacs from lowes for like $30. Sucked all those leaves out from the front of my rad.

$350 sounds reasonable to me. feel free to tell me otherwise lol.

and yeah, if you had that much crap in there i think it might come in handy

i dont think so...i MIGHT be out in latham/troy that weekend though

well you will be on the way home if you are in troy or latham so let me know.

you should bring it with you, you never know. You could try selling it at the edge of Lake Christy. Would be like selling umbrellas in a rainstorm.

Lol yea no joke! If one of the guys we go wheeling with all the time has one I'll have to get one.. Or add some spacers under the 3"springs take the Brian Schuler route

yeha i gotta figure out when to get it from him, possibly later this month.

Thanks to Ron for meeting up with me at AB this weekend im now the proud owner of a snorkel.

oh yeah, i DID sell that thing. glad it found a good home! thanks for taking it off my hands
