Rausch on 2/24-25?

My buddy is (president? Boss? Grand wizard?) someone of note with the GPAX and they're having an outing to rausch in late febraury, he wanted to put it out there to us, and anybody else who wants to go. He just got a rear locker in his exterra and he's pretty pumped.

as a nissan guy (currently driving #7 & 8 ), if i were to build an xterra, itd look like that.

turf you should probably go they are going to need you to pull them out of a lot of snowy mud holes.

haha, if i pull that exterra out of anything i'd literally remind him every thirteen seconds. I'm going to try, it's the weekend that would TECHNICALLY be for our 2 year anniversary (my wife and i) but she's a good sport

what did she think of the pines? she had the "oh shit" face on a few times when you were coming thru some water crossings.

She said it was interesting and that she'd do it again but wasn't necessarily fun. She says she still can't figure out why i spend so much time working on my truck just to drive it out into the woods and break it..

My girlfrind has said the same. She likes the being outside and camping portion but doesnt want to ride around in a truck all day. She came on the trails road ride last weekend and on the first hill she's like "we are going to go down that?! why?!" To be fair there was a couple inches of snow and that hill is pretty steep looking.

If my truck is running I'll go. I'd love to see what an X-Terra can do.

I'd like to go too, just talked to Kase and he wants to hit up Rausch soon as well. Depends on when all of our trucks are working and ready to go

There's a lot of work I wanna get done too. I have +2" brake lines I want to get on I wanna change the oil in my thirds and run new breather hoses if I have time. Not to mention dielectric the mess put of my connections so I can avoid more oil light issues etc. if I can get most of that done and convince my wife it's a good way to spend the weekend after our anniversary, then in in. But Steve (bres) hit me up specifically said he'd like us there and all make/models are welcome

Turf, oil light problems eh? you change your sensor and check the wire running to it? Driving on an oil light scares the shit out of me. Might kept flickering and I thought it was fine, dropped the pan and found out otherwise.

I told my wife I needed to replace the shocks. I somehow forgot to mention that I swapped bigger springs, and then spacers in there too. It was about 6 weeks before she said, "you lifted this, didn't you."

My wife likes this enough that I bought her a truck all her own (the Red D1 Brian was selling). The only reason she isn't with me on every wheelin' trip I take is that she frequently has to work weekends.

Now she's pressing me to get my D2 'finished' so I can start building her D1.

No problem with that...We can just turn her and Heidi loose with it at RC and see how much trouble they get into...

I expect to have the seats fixed (the motors were OK, it was the switches) and it should be inspected by the end of the week. As soon as that happens I'm 99% sure it's going to turn into a daily driver...

Thats cool. It was too fun of a truck to just sit in my driveway collecting dust till I could ever work on it. Im just glad someone is going to enjoy it.

He did more in a week than you did in six months!

my landlord is still pissed off that the red truck took a big ole fluid dump on my driveway. he put in my lease im responsible for any more auto fluid stains on the drive.... what a dick.
