Sand & Snow 2 - 1/19/13 - 1/20/13

We are meeting at the Yurts at 9:00 am on Saturday 1/19

They are located @39.873977,-74.52359 on Coopers Rd at the corner of Glass House Rd off of Route 72.

Make sure to gas up and grab food beforehand. Lunch will be on the trail Saturday. Saturday night dinner will be at Picalilly's. Camping back at the Yurts and wheeling till mid-day Sunday.

Only cost is if you want to camp. We reserved 2 yurts so far. Each yurt sleeps 4. $10 per person.

I hope we have snow!!!

Lots of shit to get done to the RRC before the outing, But I'm all in.

I'll be there but just to watch Ed and Brian freeze in the ice cold water.

the dinner thread is strictly for to poll if we people want to order take-out or dine in. last year we ate there and everyone used the bathroom and washed up. then we took leftovers back to camp where we drank and heated up wings later on that night over the fire. the place is probably the best spot around as far as quality of food and parking but im always open to suggestions.

Ok after using my charming good looks and reverse psychology I manage to convince the sarge (aka wife) that it was a good idea for me to go to this event and for her to be home with a new born and a 4 and 5 year old ....so I'm in need to prep the D1 a bit and try to make her as waterproof as I can ...so the Wawa is not the meeting point ehh ...I'll be stoping for coffee there anyway

we have the 20lb propane heaters. two of them. so if we only have the two yurts that's enough. I also got some extra solar blankets.

Last year they didn't but we survived

we cracked the moon roof on the yurt how to ventilate

If anybody else has a propane heater, please bring it. I had brought mine to our OEM disaster relief center after the hurricane, and after the tank emptied, someone took it, thinking it was there for someone to use. Im mad its gone, but at least someone without power and heat was able to use it. I have a kerosene heater, but I don't really want to bring it if I don't have to

you are good to go with your rig. last year we had a series truck there. you going to camp with us in the Yurts?

Ok, cool. If there is room I would, or just bring a tent. Either way I could still bring heaters.

Let me double check my schedule tonight before I commit, but I should be good.

we have a bed for you. and i think brian actually just picked up a heater the other day so we have two heaters. bring one just in case.

I am in, put me down for a spot in the yurt. I will bring a tent just in case. I have a bunch if gear, let me know if we need anything, lanterns, stoves, dutch oven, chainsaw, heaters, etc.

Some of those holes in video looked deep, can I bring my jeep?......just kidding.
