NELRC Second ANNUAL - May 17-19th 2013

We will be returning to Rausch Creek and Anthractie Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA) for the NELRC Second Annual.

Sunday has been scratched.

REVISED SCHEDULE
Friday May 17th- Rausch Creek Off Road Park.
Saturday May 18th- AOAA

For Friday - you will pay and register at Rausch
Rausch Creek fees are as follows:

Membership fee: $15 for drivers and passengers
Access fees: $35 per driver
$7 per passenger age 16 and older.

Camping for FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights Call to reserve a space, CASH ONLY upon arrival. (570) 259-3395.

Irish Valley campground is located 15 mins from Shamokin (AOAA) on Irish Valley Road, just off of 61.

Group Tent area -
Cost $5.00 per person. No charge for children 5 and under.

Pull thru - Easy access for campers. includes water and electric hookups. Cost $30.00 for 4 people. Additional people on site cost $5./adult, $3./child, 5 and under/free.

As of now, AOAA is not officially open, so they are requiring guides again. We will be breaking it up into smaller groups this year, with a wider range of trails. AOAA is requiring all vehicles to be registered and insured, and to be able to provide proof of registration and insurance.

The AOAA Authority has provided us with the following fee schedule for the weekend:
$20 per driver
Passengers are $10 each

Payment via Check or Money order, payable to AOAA
DO NOT BRING CASH

I'm going to try for the 18th at the least and try and see more than just one trail at this sweet park.

NASCAR is not racing if that's what you are referring to. I race on real tracks going left and right.

Im the only one of that group that is a member here. And i believe they already have site reserved. But Ill figure it out regardless

We need an estimated head count for AOAA, that's why I was asking.

I probably already know the answer to this question. Thonk it's ok to bring my M101a1 trailer for camping? I know it'd be fine at Rausch, just checking on AOAA. But since they are having rv hookups, I'm sure it'd be fine. I'd only bring it if the wife and dog come.

Going to try to make this with one of my trucks. Felt bad about missing it last year.

Now that spring is sprung here I am going to get my truck sorted out and put together, and try to make it this year.

I'd hope so, considering you live like 2 blocks away.

I'm a hard maybe right now. I will be done school at that point but not sure when I will be driving home. I'm planning on detouring to FL and seeing some friends on the NC/SC, I still need to plan my trip out. But once I have a solid plan I will be able to either confirm or deny. But I really want to make this trip being I missed it last year and hopefully I should have some sliders on by then as well that I will want to test out.
