I'm actually putting my back one on today, and need to find somewhere to put the front on cause I don't have a welder to weld the front mounting points on. So I'm good there. But gotta see if I can get my quick disconnects on. Maybe that will be a tomorrow thing.

I am out since the Disco wants to continue to be the poster child for unreliable garbage.

Im still planning on being there. I have no Idea how Im going to make it happen but i will!!

Question: can we bring a printed and already signed copy of the AOAA waiver on saturday or does it have to be done in person? just saving time, perhaps...

No bring it signed, if you can! I'll have some copies on hand for those who didn't bring one. Also don't forget AOAA is taking check or money order only. No cash.

has there been any more talk about going to the wayside like you did last year? i would luv to give them a heads up in case they wanted to added an extra person on staff that night..just sayin....

So whats the plans for Friday?? Im going to come down 422 miles one way.. And am only going to rausch creek. I have a larger group of other rovers that happened to be there that same weekend so only made sense!!

Meeting time is a for 9am both days. Doing my best to get there for Rausch but I still am working on the abs system and have no brakes.

Ill be at rausch sat and sun as well i wasnt planning on going to AOAA thats all.

You need to bail on Rausch for Saturday.Take the 40 min ride up to Anthracite.It will be worth your while.Besides if you don't I'll mail you my dog's shit for a month.

So turns out the guy who is supposed to cover me this weekend bailed on me. It's too short notice to get someone else to cover me so I am up shits creek. I won't be able to make it this weekend. Great way to ruin the perfectly good night I was having.

after doing all sorts of work to my truck this week. my truck runs better then it ever has. that is moving forward. stopping. not so much. the two rear calipers are fucked. going to ride out in the morning to ride winch bitch with Brett.

Great trip except for having to take Ed with me but after all he is the "President".Nice to see some new faces and as always I want to puke when I see Kase.I'm sure Ed will be posting pics and vids soon for those of you pole smokers who pussed out.

What a great trip! I got to explore nearly everything that is cut so far on the east property at Anthracite, last year we explored only the west. so it took us two days of wheeling to cover both properties and that is just with what they had cut now. They have barely started from what Mike the trail guide organizer told me. He also mentioned a soft opening in September when facilities will be up and running and they will be open on weekends and holidays only for people to show up grab a map and go! Next year will be the grand opening when they provide a full schedule. Possibility of the Third ANNUAL moving to a two or three day event at Anthracite for 2014 with dinner at the Wayside.

Well it was good to meet the couple of you I met at Rausch. Gotta say I had a blast but the 7 hr drive was terrible lol! Well not really truck cranks 80 all day no prob lol just a long ddrive lol!

This is a quick note of thanks to Ed for planning the AOAA outing. Jane and I had a blast! You all made us first timers feel real welcome. The advice on enhancing the Disco for a better off-road experience and how to drive it on trails is appreciated.

Also thanks to Kris for organizing the camping spot. It was nice camping with Rob and Kim and Dave (sort of - kidding!) and his son. I have been working through a couple of hours of video footage from the day. Below is a link to a couple of rough cuts. I hope to have a more polished video completed sometime in this lifetime.
