has anyone replaced one of these on a D2???
how hard is it to replace one? i have the new part at the house waiting on me to come home and do it.
hoping to be home at lunchtime on Friday,going camping this weekend.so it will probly have to wait til the 16th when i get back on my normal home time routine.
tks for the advise on my next todo project.

Not sure if they are like the DI but I had more time cleaning everything up then I did changing it.

I know when I did my head gaskets, putting the PS pump back on was a huge PIA. Because I didn't pull the fan, it took me an hour to wrestle that thing back on. I would cut about 1/2" off the top center stud, and use it as merely a locator. Next time, I'm cutting the stud down.

didn't get to take any pics,sorry guys.
it went kind of smooth,until i went to put the hose back on and broke the hose clamps.got new ones but they r a tad to small.and i need to know what size the the bleed screw is....

Glad to hear it went fairly smooth. You may be able to learn more about the bleed screw at rovers north.

on my rover,the bleed screw/nut!!!!! is a 7/16th box wrench for best results.
I'm hoping i got the suction hose on tight.it should be put back on while u have the pump off the motor.i broke the factory clamps when pulling the hoses off.got some clamps at pep-boys when i got the fluid.
it feels soooooooo much better.....have a good day
