Hello all
I am new to this forum, I frequent Dweb and Pirate.
I have a 96 D1, with some lift, 33's, ARB's and a winch.
I live in Vermont and wheel with Green Mountain Crawlers.

Dan

Nice trail, Dan! The right color Disco too! Shocked

Welcome to this rag tag forum/club. Hilltoppersx is our leader. I am not exactly sure what we are all about but we like to wheel and leave the picnics/get-togethers for the other clubs. No sense seeing all the NELRC dumb-asses if we're not wheeling. Hell, I don't even like most of them. What a Face

Most of us are in PA/NJ/NY and frequent Rausch Creek. But, there was a trip to way-to-far-north NY for a weekend at a new park up there. Maybe you could hook us up with some good trails up your way.

Cheers!
Dave

That is actually a class 4 (un-maintained) town road.
It is classified as un-passable currently.
That is the easier portion of the road.

welcome to the forum Dan. Were you at Winter Romp earlier this year? Where in VT are you from? We just went up to Mettowee in Whitehall, NY between Lake George and the VT border. Not a bad park although they need to work out a few kinks.

I am in the Burlington area, NW corner.

We went to Metawee once 2 years ago.
the trails were decent, all short loops.
The mud was slimy clay with no traction.
We had 6 trucks stuck in one little hollow, had to winch them all out.

There was some issues between our club and Metawee owners/management and we have not been back since.
I only know rumours and will not repeat them.

I can put together a trail ride if people want to visit this area.
The trail in the pictures is called "Divorce trail"
There is a state campground within 20 minutes and another area about 1 hour away from this.
Dan

This trail is even on the GPS.
