And you give Jake and me hell for not going!!!
I wont have my shocks and y pipe till late next week then itll be play time again. lol no shit!! What happened Davey boy, you have a broken Rover? I kind of backed myself into a corner on this one. I could get the tie rod on but she ain't running real well right now. I am a bit concerned as I just put new plugs in it before the last trip. I did take it swimming last time and I must have screwed something up. I thought it would have dried out by now. I pulled the cap and, although it was not wet, I let it dry out in the sun for a few hours. I have to figure out my next move...

I am not sure. It seems to be down a cylinder or two but it is not missing, they are just not there at all. I haven't looked at it yet other than drying stuff off. I am hoping my coil is getting toasted.

It might be dead though.. Give Randy a call.

| Dave you need a distributor cap boot off a mid 90s escort. Its a rubber boot that cover the whole cap, we used to use them on my buddys mud racing truck. You can also pop that little vent cap off and run a hose to a vacume source. I would also move your coil to the firewall area if the wires are long enough. I know distributors dont like water but seems yours hates it. I would also get some dielectric grease and put around the base of the cap to help seal it up even more and use it on every plug wire and every damn electrical plug on that truck. Also if you can make a plate or something under the radiater to keep water from coming up and splashing the fan thatll help also. Ps You suck | |

Maybe he's trying to drive on top of the water... They should have put a water ski option on the new defender...

| you can clean the D1 MAF's with some electrical cleaner. can't do it with the D2's. i would spray the hell out of it before i went and bought another one, especially since they can be pricey compared to the D2. | |
