wonder of that guy had a driver side 99-02 rear bumper tail light. I busted mine backing down a trail in the pines....
haha if he does i'll get you one
I actually sourced two. one for $350 plus shipping form NC. the other $250 local.
So when is the next wheeling trip? I should have my Defender up and running this week or next.
Think you could find another local for my disco?

I can get you a 1.2 LT230 for dirt cheap. Do you need a 1.4 or 1.2? I also have 4.11 R&P in 3rds I could get rid of.

Stock diffs. Are you looking for just a spare 1.2? or you want a 1.4 for larger tires and better highway drivability? I have mine on 315/75 tires and ran the 4.11s for a bit. The TC blew so i swapped in a 1.4 TC and then went back to stock gearing. I like that because if you are ever far from home you can get a spare diff with stock gears easy. And in the end its the same gearing as a 1.2 TC & 4.11s

I want to copy what you did and run 315's. I like the idea of being able to swap to a stock diff if something goes south.

It is the best way to go. You can also get a 1.4 gear relatively cheap and crack open your old case and swap it in. Remember though it only changes your high ration gearing. Your low gear is the same between 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 boxes.

Yea Which I guess is the only downfall of not swapping the diff gearing. If you can find me 1.4 or 1.6 gearing cheap let me know. Only place I have seen it is ashcroft and toddco for an arm and a leg per gear.

Or if you would hook me up with those 4.11's cheap I'd be interested. I dont have a use for the diffs but could swap you for stocks diffs/gears plus cash
