in reality, aside from Eds method being one of the cheapest, it also seems to be one of the easiest to install. because im a fucking genius. honestly, my theory is. the less moving parts and the most direct route to the switch is the most reliable. i have been offroad with it many times including having most of it underwater and have had zero problems. that is since I redid it with a universal impact. before that when i had the zinc coated straight socket it came right off because the jb couldnt stick.

| Well Dale (rovertrader on dweb) has a low milage 4.0 I might pick up while I build a 4.6 or search for a RRC. Of course this is pending I speak to Randy and see what he has around. I JUST WANT MY TRUCK BACK ON THE ROAD!!!!! | |

| on dweb, randy posted in another 4.6 wanted thread that he has a 4.6 crank, rod and pistons. I'm sure they came out of a bad block, but as long as the block is good in your white truck, you can rebuild it into a 4.6 | |

Yea you're following my thought process finally! but I really need my truck for the winter so I'll drop a 4.0 in the white truck pull the old one, and rebuild that one as a 4.6 or sell it and the 95 and look for a RRC. This way I can take my time and have the other truck to get up the hill in front of my house in snow and to go wheeling.

| Why don't you just drive the green truck while you rebuild the engine in the white one? Don't you two have another car? It's not like you have a long commute to work or anything. | |

It's black.. Because it won't pass safety inspection without floors and insurance and registering it + inspection costs and fixing it isn't worth it at all.
