| Whats up guys, I'm turf. Met a lot of you guys at Rausch last weekend for the first time, I was the dude with the black and white corgi and the look of shear terror on my face as we drug my truck against rocks. I have a 99 D1 epsom green. Bought it stock 3 years ago with like 78k miles on it, for too much (4500) and started the passion by just replacing the silly stuff that went wrong like starters and rear window switches etc. Finally, i started throwing off road parts at it because i could and love wrenching, i used to be a hot rod guy (dad and i have a 67 camaro convertible and an 81 formula firebird turbo) but this 4 wheeling bug bit me. Anyhow, now the truck has a 2.5" lift and jakes old pizza cutter super swampers, just bought new (to me) rockware trailing arms off brian s. because i bent one of mine on the trail. I have OME +2" shocks in the mail because i blew my stock ones out on the trail. I have plans for tons of stuff, but for right now i need to focus on armor i think. So i guess diff guardsand sliders are in order. Oh, also, .love it or hate it, im the guy with the camo headliner. | |

| Bill from Hartford, CT. I met a few of you at Rausch back in Nov '11 (I had the honor of pulling Jake out of the mudhole that ate his DI...). The truck is an '04 DII - bought stock in '09, and have been bolting shit on since, to include: 2" OME HD suspension Chevy T-stat conversion (best mod yet) Mantec snork EPi9 Superwinch Bottorf front (a true classic..) Rockstar Fab rear rearseats removed w/ cargo deck mod to loadspace 2012 should see sliders and OBA of some sort. Looking fwd to wheeling w/ you guys again. | |

Thanks man, funnily enough that's actually where I bought my truck. This place right off canal street called Highline Imports. Oh and if I do happen to run into Dave Kase, I'll say no and go tell someone I trust. Hopefully I'll be able to make it in April, I just have to make sure I am not on call that weekend and yes I happen to love pissing and moaning about my... I mean wheeling my truck. Although I'll be popping it's off roading cherry (at least with me, it swears its a virgin but there is a little too much mud underneath for that to be true). Edit: Oh and I see that you have a five speed, I take it you threw in a standard box? How hard was it?

I've got a 1995 Rover LWB County. She's a handful, rebuilt engine, about 140,000 miles and its an overall fun and exciting Rover. Definitely a good base for some serious upgrading. Always looking for tips and advice on these rovers, ignition upgrades or possibly belt driven blowers or quick easy power upgrades, always having a good time when working on the Rover.

At least we will know who the orange parts along the trail at Rausch belong too... Are you coming to "The annual"?

| Glad to see some people nearby. I'm in Doylestown PA...well, Plumstead actually, but there's even less of a chance of people knowing where that is. These are the results of my latest poor decisions: An '02 that needed a motor when I got it, and a '98 that needs an everything. I'm just dug into a head gasket job on Friday on that one. If I actually put some time in I could probably finish today. | |
