yup. it's Brian's truck. with my old snorkel from the D2. he said was leaking coolant pretty good so he threw some stop leak in it. let it sit for a day then drove it straight to the dealer to trade it in on a new subaru. his wife is having their second child in June so he needed something more family friendly. He said he is looking for a series truck to putz around with now. they sure sprayed a lot of black cover-up on all the rust underneath!

I drove it for a week with the k-seal in it before trading it in, to make sure it took. It was leaking about a gallon of coolant per week out of the front cover and the rear of the valley pan.

wow. that's pretty good. what did you get an outback or forester? my dad just picked up a legacy r or something. its pretty damn nice. im trying to convince jackie to trade in her 2008 outback for a new one or for a legacy. things are starting go wrong with it, had to do a window regulator, now another one is bad in the back, seal on the half shaft cracked and pissed grease all over the cat, that had to be taken care of, there is some ecr valve error that comes up every couple thousand miles.

the new outbacks look like they sit higher than her 08. they look like they are nearly as high as the old forester was. how is it in the snow? her's is pretty damn good, i drove it in a snow storm upstate last month, was passing people on the thruway doing 50 when they were doing 20. im that guy.

damm and it sold to some poor bastard for over $10k , maybe I should throw my 04 on ebay too with some catchy phrases

When I got my ecm reset said he just bought 04 needed hg $700? Now runs great, deals are out there

I wish I could find a deal like that. I need something to drive in the snow. My Gold D2's road manners are terrible.

I have a friend owns a junkyard rovers go $3-500? Or at least d1/d2

My brother works for a are dealer watches auctions says same thing, it's the head gaskets no one smart wants to be bothered, had a line few months back on nice 03/04 d2 needed head gaskets wanted for wife to drive she said no way as her daily

Trust I speak from experience, 2200? For mine like 5 years ago? Bone stock and have replaced or fixed almost everything, if I had to figure what I spent not including modds( they are the cheap part) I would be very unhappy thank god for u pull junkyards
