| Cross Posting from NJLR. Haven't had anyone commit yet but lets see if we can get a couple trucks together for this:
So here's the deal. After a long winter with a pregnant wife, and now a baby, no skiing trips, no vacation, working full time and 2 months of non stop working on a house renovation when I should have been sleeping, I need to get away from civilization for awhile. And for some god forsakene reason that I won't question, my wife is ok with it.
So, I am looking to carry out a route I planned through Maine for a 4-5 day trip. Focus of the trip is to see some cool sights(water falls, ice caves etc), do some hiking, maybe mountain biking if I bring it, sightseeings, camping and of course Im sure we can find some dirt to get the truck(s) into. There will be paved roads, dirt roads, and hopefully some good remote and challenging trails, but this isn't going to be a trip based soley on wheeling. We can all go to rausch for a day if that's what is preferred.
Looking for a couple trucks (not a convoy of 20) to tag along if anyone would be so inclined, although I'm going regardless (the dog will make fine company if nobody else is up for it!)
Only thing I ask is that if you want to come, your truck be up to the task, I don't want to spend 3 days trying to fix something that we knew was going to break before the trip began. Obviously shit happens and we'll of course deal with it, but if you know your head gasket is on it's last leg lets either fix it well before or by all means ride shotgun with me or someone.
Currently this can happen 5/14-17 or 5/21-25. The later the more stuff will be open and less likely we will run into closed areas and campgrounds, but the earlier the less chance of dealing with black flies.

Waterfalls should be at their peak with Snow melt and spring water. Also the mud should be a little fun too!
