NELRC Roxstar Fab Group Buy!

So Brian and I are both interested in getting bumpers from Brad @ www.roxtarfab.com

However currently we are waiting to hear back from Dale (rovertrader from dweb) about a couple other bumpers. This is just to see if anybody else would be interested. You would save about $100 on your bumper maybe even more.

Let me know if you're interested and we can go over the specifics. If we get more than 3 I am going to see if Brad can work out something even better.

Brad hooked up a bunch of the guys that Bottorf ripped off. I would recommend him 110%

Nah 2 bumpers shipped were like $160 to commercial address. We would have to have them all shipped to one place though.

That is what I was thinking when I talked to the guy from tactical rovers. Basically with the discount it is just free shipping.

I'm waiting to hear back from Dale. I think if it's all strapped to a pallet the shipping is pretty cheap.

This makes me wish I still was truckin to Chicago twice a week, id save us all a ton on shipping. Jake I havent heard back from Dale yet so this mite be a done deal for me.

there are no aftermarket companies in the northeast. none. the only one was bottorf and he was a scam artist. i wonder if there is a market opening.

Yea I would love to get into that stuff.. Unfortunately it also requires still and experience lol

Maybe after I get my garage built and I get more toiling I could get into building items. But thats gonna be few years down the road.

I had a scholership to Wyotech I kick myself for not going. Stevens Trade School used to have a killer welding class not sure if they still do or not. I really wanna try Tig welding but I dont have the $$$ for a new welder right now. Plasma cutter is next on my list mine is about shot other then doin sheetmetal.

if the group buy works out you can count me in for sliders. maybe a couple of us could just do a road trip to pick up stuff for everyone. We travel sans Rovers and use a vehicle thats more economical. Also, I have to travel to Chicago for business fairly often and think i have to go out mid September, maybe i could rent a one way truck and bring everything back at once. Just a thought...

i'm kind of disappointed I lost my 'Jiffy Lube Specialist' title by the way...

We will see what happens. I am still waiting to hear back from Dale about the safari guard bumper........

BUT I think Brian is out cause he traded his chain saw for an 8724 lucky bastard. Which means his bumper options are now very limited to something that can handle that huge hoss.

Either way Brad is a really nice dude and his sliders were actually 1st on my list before I got a good deal on mine. If you could bring stuff back I am sure guys would still pay you something for helpin out. It would only be right.

I'm already looking into a twin motor setup for it Its a 24v one mt buddy had on his dozer before I put a hyd MileMarker on it so I figured I need a new motor anyhow why not get the case and go with twin setup..........

So I am 90% picking this bumper up from Dale. He said he would weld the A-bar on for a little extra. What do you guys think A-bar or A-bar less?





The difference in marginal however I dont know if I want a bumper pieced together from other companies and I think I like the look minus the brush bar. Obviously less protection up front bump he's also including the front skid. Either way I am going to have to refinish the bumper obviously take the grinder to it a bit and figure out what to do for tow points. I like the ones I have an may find some more similar.

SF bumper is a little bulkier than the rovertym.

I think I am going to without the A-bar. Besides it being a good place to mount lights I dont see any other benefit. If I was going to hit something with my truck it would probably be one of the corners anyway.

The black RTE truck just impresses me everytime i see that! Jake thats the steering off that truck I'm getting off of Randy that I was trying to explain that day we got your springs.
