I'm learning my truck all over again. Got the Detroit in and can't even notice it on street. I did find a bad wheel bearing though. It was loose and rusted. Tightened it bad up and now I can hear that.

Even if we are there for the weekend we will be doing trail rides. Got a CB? cell phone? We can hook up. I will warn you (if we have the NELRC Fantastic 5 together), we wheel. No BS, just drive. Of course we help each other but we do not unload our families, coolers and dogs at every obstacle. My first "real" wheeling was with NELRC at Rausch with Eddie and crew (at Eddie's insistence) and I never had such a great time!

My first "real" wheeling was with NELRC at Rausch with Eddie and crew (at Eddie's insistence) and I never had such a great time! true and true. We will be doing the trails all weekend but I may stop for the rock competition. Depends on who else is going to do it. Any other takers? Should we start talking about food now too? Who all is camping? Billy, Eddie, me?

I did tell my wife to get out of the truck once, but that's because fodge was sliding uncontrollably down the hill from j when he only had his all-seasons and I thought he may be sending us rolling sideways down the mountain. And then we almost lost fodge later that day when his disco tried to kill him. I also have an frs radio if you have one of those. If not they're cheap if you don't want to spring for a cb just yet.

| 95% in for this event, may have another DII and P38 coming down from MA, too. Between work, wives, and kids, we'll see who makes it. No competing here, but up for some trail rides if you guys don't mind us tagging along.

| for those of you who this is their first ROTR. the rock event takes at most a an hour and a half at lunchtime on Saturday. Everyone comes out around the rock course and if you compete or not we are all gathered there. Brian and I will be by the pot of chili with our lounge chairs. i will also be shooting plenty of video that weekend.
as for the trail rides. we are going to have a big turnout. My plan is to keep us into groups of 5 or 6 so that each group can really cover some trails. However I would like everyone to stay on one side of the park. Saturday we do east sunday we do west or vice versa in case anyone needs help we can get over there to help out. we'll swap what cb channels we will all be on in case you need to call for backup. My idea is we do a stock group, a 2" lift group and the 2" and over group.
i think something like this will work best for everyone. no one will be in over their head.
