Check on my crappy wiring skills

Ok guys Im about to wire my lights that are up on the rack but want to make sure Im doing it correct. I looked over many different wiring diagrams and think I know what Im doing but....


3 pole rocker switch-

3 on switch gets power from fuse box or battery
2 on switch goes to 85 on relay
1 on switch is to ground.

Relay-

87 goes to lights
86 gets grounded
30 from battery w/inline fuse
85 from rocker switch.

Sound right?

only one way to find out!! hook er up!! good luck!! hahaha

I had this saved in my photobucket for when I need to hook up a relay. It says that 85 goes to ground and 86 to switch

thats awesome, that would have helped me with my light for sure. The instructions Hella gives for the 700's is a joke.

Also mounted my switches in change/whatever slot above ashtray.

billy is spot on.

i used that same diagram when wiring up my lights.

sweet! should be all hooked up by this weekend. Got to check all the wiring the guy has already hooked up then just finish it up to switches and relays.
