| Although my tires are still good, I'd like to start checking out some of my tire options. I will be stepping down to either the factory 18", or one of the 16" wheels(I can't recall the name of them)-ones on G4?? Anyway....does anyone know what metric size I should be looking for, to go with my 1.5" lift? It looks like I could go up one size or so, I'm not trying to get crazy, just want that little extra tire under there. | |

| Stepping down from a 19" to a 16" rim would be a big help. I don't have a d2 but I have a near 3" lift and I'm having trouble stuffing 32"s. I think i could have a remedy for that though. I'd keep it around 30-31" | |

| 255/55-19 is thirty inches as it sits. You could do a 265/75 on a 16" rim to give you 31.65" | |

| I think a 31" tire would be as big as I'd go for now. I was curious as to what others were running with similiar lift. I do like the way mine handles and looks with the 19s but they are not practical for getting tires for. General tire does make a nice AT for the 19 but its only available in the UK apparently. I'm still torn between getting 16s or the factory 18s. As gay as it sounds, I still want to keep this truck road friendly. | |

Tire size all depends on how much you either lift if or open the fenders up... I have a 3 inch lift and am going to have to cut my fenders off to stuff 35's With that said I think a 245/75/16 is a good sized tire little over 30" and decent width. I had nice set of BFG AT's in that size with a 1.5" OME. See the intro section - first pic | |
