| Also what kind of trails are all of you thinking about doing? I have done all but 4 trails when I owed my jeep but this is the first time out with my classic so I'm going to take it easy doing greens and blues and maybe a blue/black or two. All depending on the group | |

| We use CB radios to communicate on the trail. Works pretty well, anyone without a radio we stick in the middle of the group so the lead and tail end can always communicate a problem.
As for types of trails, some people will be doing only blue/black because they are nuts. Personally I know I will be sticking to greens/blues as this is the first time I had this truck in the dirt. I know Brett said he is going to do the same, and for the same reason. Feel free to join us or head off with another group mid-day.
Have you been to Rausch before?

| Ok sounds like I'll be in the middle of the pack and I'm going to stick with green and blue trails because I have a 4.5 hour ride home and AutoZone doesn't stock classic rover parts. Lol when I do my aluminum radiator I'm going to get one that they use in race cars and mod the rover for it to work. | |

| Will be good to see you all again as well, been way too long. I'll be flying back from Denver that afternoon so assuming no delays we'll (my boys and I) be rolling in Friday night 7-ish. BTW, if anyone has a steel front bumper they want to sell (arb, rovertym, terrafirma, etc.) bring it along. Tired of dragging my sorry oem bumper and sloppily welded cheap brush guard around. Just have no interest in paying rack rate for a new one. - Hilltoppersx wrote:

- Thanks Tom ilk have to check it out. So I was wandering if any of you guys use two way radios when on the trails? When I was going there with out groups we brought radios so the lead vehicle knows if anyone falls behind.
I always have a pair of hand-held radios in the truck. They have come in handy for someone without a CB or chasing down a run away dog.

| A few of us Lancaster boys will be there Thursday night and be running down to Rausch Friday morning.
A special thanks to Randy for all his help in getting me up and going for this trip. I couldn't have done it without him and his Rover Bones!

- The reason I set up the campsite near AOAA for two nights is two fold. People can convoy up after the day at Rausch and be at right near AOAA for Saturday morning and not have to make and break camp twice, and for people coming from out of town only for Saturday at AOAA they can set up Fri and Sat nights near AOAA.
The campsite is cash only so for two nights for one vehicle is $35. You don't pay per person so if you have 4 people in your truck and two tents you pay $35. If you have one person and one tent in one truck you pay $35. The entrance is 3500 Lower Rd Shamokin Pa 17872. Near the corner of Blacks Lane & Lower Rd. (I'll add that into the original post)
No reservations necessary. Just let me know if you are interested so i can give an approximate head count for our group site. Count us in for campground on Friday and Saturday night.

| Triple A is paid. no worries i wont be following you and Randy through a rock garden any day. considering you have a trailer to get home.
i gave an estimated head count of 20 for friday and saturday nights at the campground. we will be at the top of a grassy hill so in case of rain we should be good.

Doc - just tell each of the boys to grab an armful at home before you leave. They can hold it on their laps for the ride.
