I'm in Hamilton all the time. Just found a place pretty close by there that is supposed to have some decent trails. Might check it out soon just not sure how legal it is though. Hit me up if you have any questions about the area.

| I'm in! its only 10 miles from the house. I haven't wheeled these trails out here kinda wondering if my lame Disco will be suited for the outing. The mods are, 255/85/16 KM2's , 2" RTE springs, cut fenders with D2 flairs, RTE D2 upper and lower shock mounts front and rear, spring retainers, terrafirma +2 shocks. Defender steering stableizer, RTE steering rod, RTE wide face front bumper, I won't have my winch in time for the outing. And lame ass stock 3rds and axels | |

All are welcome, (except Kase) hey ladies.... if this trip is still on I'm likely in. Also planning on jumping in line during the convoy down 95 then joining the group in VA. Its been a pretty busy year so far and between taking time out to replace my head gasket, dealing with union/labor issues out west for work, and moving my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's out of my house next weekend the summer has been packed end to end. The fall is looking like a Rover Season for me. Also, just FYI, on a friday or Saturday yet to be determined this August I have a Tuna Charter lined up out of Cape May, NJ. It's a 1 day trip on a 42' high end fishing rig at a cost of $350 per person (includes charter, tips for mates, food, beer, etc). We have room for 4 people as of today (total of 12 on the boat). PM me if interested in grabbing a spot. Would love to annoy the crap of the sports car guys with banter about Rovers. best, Doc

My first trip to the pines found me lost for three hours being the first through all kinds of shit by myself without a safety line. Was total stock. You'll crap your pants a time or two but it builds character. You'll be fine.

| Sounds like fun! The water holes are all I'm worried about, I might get a fine with all the extra lube coating everything on the under carriage. I dont want to pollute the water! | |

what's the worse that can happen? A little water in the intake? - dry it out. Water on the electrical? - dry it out. Shorts? - bring extra fuses. Sitting in deep water too long? bring a few gallons of gas in cans. Bring extra plugs, some silicon spray (but highly advise to coat EVERYTHING that looks like exposed metal beforehand, but a little extra here and there during breaks won't hurt), wear shoes that can get wet (have extra dry shoes and socks), and for the love of God make sure you have tow hooks front and rear with the longest chains/straps you can find so people can drag your water-logged ass out of deceptive water crossings. Oh, and most importantly bring 12 year old single malt scotch. some of these guys that show up for these events are real scotch whiskey snobs.
