Summer in the Pines August 25th-26th 2012

You may feel at home the JK club is wheeling and camping in the pines the same weekend , mine is a 2007 JK but is the newest thing I got so I cant beat on it.

we need to get a final head count for camping so we can book the campsite. if you are camping please post here and let us know. so far for camping its, me, brian, billy, brett and his son ethan.

They are camping here Batona Camp in Wharton State Forest.

Do you know how about many people are camping there with them? From what I recall, batons is one of the smaller campsites, so we may have to pick somewhere else if there's going to be a lot of vehicles,

not camping,only wheeling on saturdy.....c u guys soon

Hey guys, so i know i'm always in the fence about these runs. But as it turns out i will be here for this event. I'll prolly only be able to do Sunday, and maybe Saturday if my friend bails on his club event. Anyway i got a severe front end rattle, so i'm going to check that out first and depending on what it is i may do the event. Either way i won't be camping, so i'll let you know, but put me down for a strong maybe.

great 10 for camping so far.

I live close so if any one has any problems my little garage and what little tools I have are welcome to any one. Also I have a huge yard so next time we do a Pines run the camping and hot showers are free! I have enough room in the drive way for 20+ rovers, Jeeps can park on the road

I spoke to someone at Atsion today about camping. For some reason, they told me they're only taking walk-in reservations for one night camping, probably a summer thing. But they said only one group has made reservations at Batona (i'm assuming the jeep group.) That's usualy a rarely used campsite, so we should be good.

I called atsion, we should be able to check in there. I believe 4 or so.

Sorry guys but I won't be able to make it. FedEx screwed me over because I ordered a replacement Caliper (to replace the other back caliper that was binding) and it was supposed to arrive on Saturday but only arrived yesterday. I don't have time this week to install it so right now the Landie is parked. So pissed at FedEx but they said they are "really sorry". Dick heads.

Also Ed you should get the scanner back either today or tomorrow.

got the scanner gonna test it today refund u tomorrow. check ur brake fluid. mine was so dirty it had clogged the caliper up and froze it. doin a flush on friday to make sure i dont end up with the rest failing on me.,

My brake fluid is squeaky clean, I did a flush when I replaced the other brake caliper. I just think the boots are old and they got some grim in them. I am going to check the others to make sure that I am not sitting in the same situation 3 weeks from now.

So i guess im out... again. New F/driveshaft arrives next Thursday and i don't really want to wheel with a worn one. So i guess if you guys go in fall i will try and get out then

Haven't posted in quite a while, but I'll be there. Only doing Saturday. Driving to Maryland on Sunday so no camping for me.

i got a crap load of things to get done tomorrow and friday. i have friday off so thats good. flushing coolant and changing thermostat, flushing brake fluid, balancing tires, alignment, possibly a transmission mount and of course pack the damn truck. oh yeah and find firewood. ill be staying in jersey friday night at a friends so i will be there at 8:30 on the dot at the Wawa. see you then!
