| Do I need to do anything special to my truck for a run in the pines? I see you guys talking about venting axles etc. I have no Idea about wheeling in water. | |

| If I make this, it will only be for the day. But i'll bring my wetsuit and my scuba gear. After how me and randy got stuck, it may be time to run the train tracks or cut bypasses for that one hole. | |

| do some smart and cheap shit, di-electric all your connections (especially your oil pressure switch on the block, ask me why) and silicone spray all the connections afterward. Make sure you rtv the back of your headlights, stuff like that. it'll just keep you from throwing false codes or warning lights. there are a lot of connections under the hood and a lot of water in the pines. they dont mix well | |

| Where will we be camping and will we be able to bring beer or are there going to be too many park rangers around the camp site? Only reason I ask is that I have been busted in Warton State Forest before by a park ranger, bastard made me pour out a whole case of Key Stone... Yea that's right, I was way classy in college. | |

we camped in one of the state campsites last time. the ranger came by once but he didnt bother us he was telling us what roads to hit up. we also were not chugging beer and leaving cans all over, i think we had rum, vodka and fodge was drinkin johnny blue or something. we can always go to a private campsite there is one right outside wharton.

Ok cool, I have always had the philosophy of never leaving any trace I was at a camp site so I like take out anything I bring in.

| Man I wish i could make this. Actually going to be at Dove Mountain in AZ that week/end on business. Good news is a few of us are renting some jeeps from a place near there for a day in the desert. Going to tear the hell out of those things Pines is fun, just wear flip flops so you don't have to walk around in squishy shoes all day. | |

| I had a girlfriend drag me all the way up to Syracuse NY to go watch Dave Mathews. Funny how that relationship didn't work out. | |

| Even here, in the forum that is the "judgement free zone" I'd keep that on the low. You'd be less gay for saying you went up to a cozy little b&b to do antiquing all weekend. | |

LOL... he was actually the local band when I was in college. Had a pretty good following at the time. Either that or people loved the $1 long neck buds. Come to think of it, it might have been the long necks that drew the crowd. But... if Dave Mathews was in town I'd only want to go watch with Dave. He has a warm sensitive and enduring way about him, I think he would appreciate the show.

My biggest issue with the guy is that he skipped out of SA because he didn't want to do national service (up until 94 all South African males over the age of 18 had to do 2 years active/ 2 years reserve national service) and coming from a family who all served, it just rubs me the wrong way. That and I find his music to self indulgent sometimes.
