| Okay so finally got the centralizing peg off. I posted an article in the tech directory today. Dont waste youtr time trying to heat it up and knock it out with a hammer and vice grips or a slide hammer trust me I tried it. Go get a hub socket, a 8mm bolt 3 inchs long and a couple 4 or 5 washers. Tighten it down and it will slide right out. Take my advice and it will save you a head ache or two. I would have took more pics but the phone was charging in the car. There's the finished product with the new flange fitted. I need to get get a shorter bolt for the stud and then I am going to torque it down and mount the new shaft. | |

| OKAY ladies and gentlemen here's the final product of the TF gas tank skid! I ended up having to cut it and found some KBS paint laying around so I figured I would rust proof it for the rest of it's life. I wouldnt recommend them however if I were to do it all over again I would go with a Columbia. Justin said I had to cut it because how the trailer hitch bars were welded on my truck. When I first lined this up it didnt look like it even belonged on a Discovery 1. The only reason I moved forward with it is because it said on the package D1 skid plate. All in all I am happy with the final project and had a chance to do some fun fabrication! While I was down there slapped some KBS on the QT as well. The trucks new name according to Ed is The Armadillo No dynabeads in the mail yet so I did an oil change and put my center console back together the right way. | |

| Dynabeads in 3 out of 4 tires and I can already notice a huge difference. I have to take the tire I had pepboys swap in to have it looked at for a slow leak. It's probably because the rim is still screwed or the bead is off. Still trying to track down this death wobble so I will probably have them make sure all of my rims are straight while they are at it.
This week..
Mon Welding store for winch power cable
Tues night Mount shovel install dynabeads in other tire
And the rest is pending parts
On order RTE adjustable panhard - death wobble? (got on a damn good deal) RTE stablizer relocation + D90 damper - death wobble? Front UJ's - probably not death wobble but they are shot Rockstar Fab diamond plate rear door plate
got this stuff on a trade for old shaft new sub box and rear bin - probably going to paint it black and try to fit it d2 cup holders steering guard - time for another custom fab job
Think that's it for now. Will I ever stop? Probably not lol

| Decided to do my front ujoints and when I was getting ready do drop the shaft I realized one of the caps was broken. Glad I decided to do this when I did. Only problem is nuts are all gummed up from previous owner. Gonna get this bad boy out and do all new bolts. Meanwhile rear shaft has eliminated tons of vibs.
Rte steering stabilizer kit didn't fit my stock tie rod.. Panhard, snatch block and hatch plate won't be here till next Monday according to ups.
Lights are done but one of then decided it didn't want to work anymore.. Need to look at this again. Got it wired to stock switch which is sweet.
Tonight lowes for more pb blaster wrenches a socket and shorter turn buckles for my limb risers.
Anybody else have any work to do before up coming trips?

Cool let me know what you do. I might go bigger alt and DH battery. The lights and winch suck a bit of power.

| Front UJ's are in. Finally! Getting that shaft out was a bitch. Going to get all new hardware for it and should have it all back up Tuesday. Also all 4 of my lights worked today. Who knows if they will all work tomorrow. And shortened my limb risers..
Where do you guys get those air fresheners? lol in all seriousness I need to clean my truck BAD. Probably a project for tomorrow. Have do drop the winch tray out and move the winch so all the bolts fit. Will it ever end?

| Flushing the rad tonight. I'm hoping to drop my lower hose or upper hose and find the issue.. But that would be way to easy. And then all of this plus trailing arms and a few other small things. Oh and if you get water in your truck like I did this weekend and need to dry it out go to the hardware store and pick up some of this I still see bed liner in my future... | |
