Yeah add me to the list as a definite. Although it looks like I'll need to do my head gaskets as I found a leak on the front corner of the engine. K-seal has stopped it for now but that is so I don't have to worry about it until it gets warmer.

Well, other than our little sweetheart expatriate, South African's don't exactly have a history of peace and understanding.

Hey this isnt to far from me. Id love to join in. I have actually wheel with Chris (the guy in the LX450 from the Expo link) Great guy. But either way Id love to take the DII out and about for a good woods ride!

So i've been trying to figure out where we can stay and meet up before heading out. Options are:

Departing the Walmart in Newport, Maine by 10am

As there are not a whole lot of places to stay, I figure we can leave Newport in the morning, stay on Maine Roads (pun intended), stop at the Indian Hill Trading Post http://www.indianhill.com/

Indian Hill Tradin post may be the last place for us to fill up on gas. Speaking of which, can I throw a gas jug on anyone's roof rack? (Kevin?)

And then head towards the B52's from there. Staying on developed roads, the B52 site is about 2 hours from Newport. With the stop at Indian Hill, we should be there for lunch.

We're looking at about anywhere from 3-5 hours between B52's to telos checkpoint.

Rates within the North Woods are as follows:

Land use fee is $12 per day, per person
Camping is $12 per night, per person

Fees should be $36 for camping, and $48 for land use for the 3 nights/4 days, for a total of $84 to be paid at Telos.

I figure we can plan on camping on the north shore of Moose Pond.

Next day we head up towards the trains. Camp somewhere up there, and the next day is just getting lost heading east. Hoping to camp around 6 mile checkpoint. Next morning, the plan is to leave out of 6 mile checkpoint, gas up in Ashland, and head south on the "Aristook Scenic Highway", towards I95 and home.

Question : when is everyone going planning in leaving the north east , it just happen that my daughters graduation (kindergarden but my wife will kill me if Im not there) is on friday ar 2pm should last an hour so I should be on my way from bergen county at around 4pm if anyone is leaving that late it will be nice to convoy the way north I may be going by my self family wanted to come until I mention 3 days of camping in the woods ...

i plan on leaving Friday as well Cris, not sure what time yet. 4pm might be too late for me I don't want to setup in the dark or hit traffic.

I'm going to be the chef de cuisine on this trip. We will be having breakfast and dinners at camp. Lunches and snacks you will be on your own. I will post some menu options up for feedback today or tomorrow!
