Getting stocked for tomorrow! Took the day off to tighten stuff up, check fluids, etc. Getting packed up later today and will head out bright and early. I lost count, but who is driving in? Is dinner going kind of free for all saturday night or is there something organized?

I am driving out, I spoke to Tom and he told me to just show up early to register so I am going to exactly that. I am taking 30 to 222 if anybody wants to meet up a long the way.

i forgot to mention they are having a big pot luck dinner saturday night. Randy will be manning the BBQ's (i think there is going to be 2) and is bringing ribs, i know someone else is bringing burgers and brats and sausages. Chicken and some side dishes might be a good thing to bring. Lyle will have coolers up at the campsite so you can unload stuff in the morning.

Very cool about the coolers. I did exchange e-mail with Lyle earlier this week about the registration. I was trying to do it through their web site with a membership subscription and was running into issues (i think my work firewall was interfering). He told me the same thing, just bring the paper and the dough. At least I was able to give him a headcount.

i left him a message that we have about 5 or 6 trucks going and 2 trucks camping out... make sure you guys take lots of pictures!!!

Definitely will. If I have time I plan on going over to Best Buy and looking at those action cam corders that you can mount outside the vehicle. I saw them there a couple of months ago and I think you said you got one, right Ed?

Dave - are you and the boy camping? I have a few bottles of Dogfishhead 120 minute IPA. Rare stuff brewed in small batches.

Nuts - forgot to work on convincing him last night after football practice. You found my weak spot (IPA) so I will go at him with gusto tonight! I do need to do a couple things to the Disco before I go but I should be able to get it fixed up tonight.

I think it just dried out completely. I didn't really do anything to it to change it but it runs fine now. I think I need to move my coil before trying any more water. I also want to check into the Chevy HEI set up and get rid of the stand-alone coil altogether. The truth is, I am not exactly sure what I am going to do...

Sounds like me fixing my winch last night. Tore it all apart, tried everything, put it back together and now it magically works better than it ever did. I have NO idea how I fixed it or what was wrong with it ha

Maybe you could sell it and buy a 1996+

When I was an aircraft mechanic we called it "PFM". Pure F'ing Magic...

I have been considering getting a '96 or '97 and moving all my stuff over to it. That would be a ton of work but I can't afford to outfit another truck. Seems like finding a fix for my water issues is an easier route. I found a bunch of little things I can do. I may as well try that first as my truck is solid and only has 97k on it.

Looks easy! Design and Machine an interrupter ring, Design and fab a sensor holder, Buy the ECU, Source Ford colis, Design and fab a bracket for the coils, hook it all up and hope it works.

The problem is that it is likely the only thing that will really work...

Yea it will work just costly. The only option to fix it 100%

fodge- i didnt pick up anything yet. I am thinking about getting the GoPro HD autosports. I saw it on sale,.. i think on Amazon for cheap with all the mounts. Right now i have my flip i can take from work and my digital camera both shoot HD video for 2 hours but no mounts. and of course my smartphone that shoots HD.... its mounting that is the issue. im going to get a USB charger for my truck as well so i can charge the flip and other devices.

Guys I hope everyone has a fun and safe trip, get those pics/videos up as soon as you can so i can drool.

Not camping...

Have late afternoon activities after the football game...

The Doctor, Jake and I were at the trials to represent.

Jake or Doc will have to report on Saturday but I ran on Sunday. I think I got 5th place but that is only part of the fun. Some of the courses were very challenging and a ton of fun.

Not mush carnage until the last section when Jill impaled her Disco through the front of the hood and below the radiator with two separate 3" branches.

There were a couple very nice Series trucks running and one of them won the event! Not bad for a bone stock Series!
